OneNote Batch is working under OneNote 2016, 2013, 2010. So there are a lot of conveniences.

Follow steps:

1.     Click "Import" tab -> "Files" group -> "Doc Files" feature.

HTML Files save in a Folder and Sub-folders

If you have save your HTML files in a folder, and have multi-level sub-folders, and now you want to import them into OneNote and keep the folder structure.

General, a .htm file save with an attachment sub-folder named title + _files.

2007 .one Files Read-Only in OneNote 2016

If you open a 2007 notebook in OneNote 2016, you will find that the notebook is read-only. You can be observed in some follow cases.

1. In OneNote 2016 Main Window title, it will display "(Read-Only) [Compatibility Mode]".
2. Most features are disabled and shown as grey.
3. On top of page, it display "This section is in OneNote 2007 format. Some features may be disabled. Click here for upgrade options.". You can click on this yellow bar to upgrade this notebook to 2010 format to change to edit mode.

Drop Down Notebooks from OneDrive

"OneNote Batch" provide a "Backup" feature help you to drop down all notebooks to your local disk from OneDrive. You can use this feature to back up your notebooks in OneDrive.

Run "OneNote Batch", and you can use the notebook icon to identify the online notebooks ( shared notebooks ).

Follow steps:

1.     Click "Export" tab -> "Backup" group -> "Backup" feature.
2.     On the left section tree, check the notebooks in OneDrive.
3.     Choose a Windows local folder to save these notebooks.
4.     Click "Start" button to start backup these notebooks.

Add Multiple Tags to A Paragraph in OneNote
In OneNote, you can add multiple tags to a paragraph, but OneNote don't provide feature to search this type paragraphs.
