We know that you can create level 3 pages in OneNote.

1. We usually press the "Add Page" button to create a Level 1 page.
   
2. In the right menu of the page, click "Make Subpage" menu item once, the page will be demoted to Level 2 page.
3. Click "Make Subpage" again, the subpage will be demoted again to Level 3 page.

View the Original Image in OneNote
It is difficult to view the image if the size of the image is very large.

Way 1.
Select an image, right click on it, click "Restore to Original Size" on pop up menu. OneNote will restore the image to original size. Shortcoming: this way will change the note to view an image.

Way 2.
Save image as a file to disk. And using your favorite image viewer to open to view.
Shortcoming: this is too much steps, and it's not convenient.

We have known OneNote has provided some shapes in draw tab. But there are few built-in shapes in OneNote than in Office Word. Word has rich shapes, and OneNote is very few.

Copy Code from Android Studio

Select a piece of code, and press Ctrl+C copy them to clipboard from Android Studio.

If you have saved the images to OneNote, OneNote will shrink the images to fit for text container.
Sometimes the images shrinks too small to see clearly.

You can restore the images to original size to read the image by OneNote native feature - "Restore to Original Size".

If you don't want to change the page to view the images. You have to save the image to a Windows folder, and open it by Windows Paint to view the original size image.

It always pop up upgrade window "A newer version of OneNote is now available for free. Go to www.onenote.com to download." when you launch OneNote 2010.

How to disable this upgrade window?

OneNote has provided export page to Office Word document feature.
But, it cannot convert OneNote headings in page to Word headings.

Paste Table into OneNote Table, Display as Sub-Table

Paste a table into OneNote table, it does not like Word, Excel paste a table.

After copy some of cells from a table, in Word, Excel,  when you paste them into another table (table2), it will replace the text with the related cells .

But, when you paste them into OneNote table. It will not replace the cells text, it just insert as a  nested table into OneNote table.

Scan Papers into OneNote

Way 1
You can use "Scanned Image" in OneNote 2013, to scan a paper document into OneNote.

The "Scanned Image" feature in OneNote 2013 located in "Insert" tab -> "Images" group.

​You can shrink or expand the size of container through drag the border by mouse. 
OneNote can shrink or expand the width of the container in OneNote, but it cannot adjust the height of the container.
