Gem for OneNote provide a feature to help you to export the To Do tags to Excel.

What is the "Verify Page"?
Like Word document or Excel workbook, sometime these files can be damaged or corrupted. They need to repair to save them. OneNote .one file also has this kind of problem. So, "Gem for OneNote" has added this feature "Verify Page" from version 1.0. "Gem for OneNote" v39.4 add a new feature to help you copy MathML out from OneNote equation.
Gem for OneNote v39.1 on the basis of the A4 frame, it add Genko with underlines inside of the A4 frame.
In "Gem for OneNote", it has provided a feature in "Edit" tab -> "Change" group -> "Paragraph" menu -> "Remove Extra Empty Paragraphs".
"Remove Extra Empty Paragraphs" is used for remove the empty paragraphs (more than one continues empty paragraphs), and just keep 1 empty paragraph only. This feature is not delete all empty paragraphs. And how to delete all empty paragraphs in an OneNote page? OneNote Desktop version has provide create and apply template features. But the templates just a fixed format and don't automatics change the text when it creating.
If we can add some fields like they work in Word into OneNote template, and the fields can be change automatics when the page creating. Gem for OneNote v29 add "Convert Fields to Result" feature, it help us to create a dynamic template. Follow example using 2 add-ins:

OneDrive Client App Library in Difference PCs Has Difference Paths In general, OneDrive App will save its library in %UserProfile% folder (C:\Users\<<YourName>>\OneDrive\DOCs). If you have multiple computers, the <<YourName>> will difference in multiple computers. So, if you link to an OneDrive file with absolute path in OneNote, it will be broken in other computers. "Gem for OneNote" v36 now include 380+ features. If you don't want to show all features on your OneNote ribbon, you can create a new tab to customize by yourself.

"Gem for OneNote" v36 add a set of features to insert hyperlinks of place in the page.
In this article, we will lean how to insert a place hyperlink - "Top of the Page" into OneNote cursor. "Top of the Page" in OneNote At first, put the cursor where you want to insert the "Top of the Page" label in OneNote page. Then, click "Gem for OneNote" -> "Link" tab -> "Top Of" feature. Outlook has Auto Text feature with itself. But, this Auto Text cannot sync in multiple PCs.
So, Gem for OneNote v36 add a new feature to make OneNote as Auto Text for Outlook. OneNote can sync these Auto Text in multiple PCs. Compose Email in a new Outlook Window and Put the Cursor At first, compose a message in a new Outlook window. Next, put the cursor in where you want to insert the auto text. Sometimes, we want to send an OneNote Section .one file to the partner. But OneNote just provide email a single page, it cannot email a section directly.
You have to create a new local notebook, Copy this section to this local notebook, Then, find the .one file of this local section. Drag and drop it into an Outlook message to send. Gem for OneNote v36 add a new feature to help you easily create an email in Outlook, and append current OneNote section .one file as attachment into this Outlook email. Send an OneNote Section File Through Outlook At first, navigate to the section which you want to email. Then, in "Gem for OneNote" -> "Cooperation" tab -> "Outlook" group -> "New" menu -> "Email Section" item. Type Text during Recording
In OneNote, click "Insert" tab -> "Recording" group -> "Record Audio" feature to start recording audio. OneNote will remember the time stamp when you typing text during recording. You can playback the audio from the time stamp of the paragraph when you click the "Audio" icon which be shown on left of paragraph. |
